Phrase Construction Kits with Alternate Parts
Samplebase.com…was… an internet site hosted by ILIO Entertainments. ILIO created a free downloadable sampler called Satellite which used instrument sounds and loops created specifically for it. Deep Sea Music created content for this sampler. The sounds and loops could be purchased at the Samplebase site.
Instrument Sets are multi-sampled instrument sounds and/or loops that are played from the keyboard and combined to make music. Construction Kits are entire pieces played by several instruments and cut into sections so that parts can be played independently and at different tempos or in different key signatures using Satellite technology. Instrument parts, intros, verses and endings can be used interchangeably to “construct” pieces that match the mood and the length of a video/film scene.
Below is a sampling of some of the construction kits created by Deep Sea Music. The demos are simply a result of piecing together different construction kit parts.
